Is reading 6 books at once considered a symptom of ADD?
I have never been one to focus on reading one book at a time. Though some books I've read are great, there are points in them that are just plain boring. When I reach those points, I take a break and pick up a different book and read it until I hit one of the boring points there. And so on and so on. I like to have multiple books at hand because I like to read things that I'm in the 'mood' for. Some days I like drama, something with a twist, a love story, or a comedy... something dark, and something intriguing, books with quotes, a biography, or even something scientific (I LOVE books about the brain.)
Anyway -- above is a pic of what I'm reading now... It seems like a lot, and actually, I think it's the most I've ever read at one time before... however, I was thinking of picking up Marley and Me tomorrow. I want to try and breeze through it so I can watch the movie.
I'm off to go read a bit of Getting Rid of Matthew now.
P.S. - just saw Madagascar 2 - it was definitely better than the first. I realize that I tend to cackle when I am really amused by something. Since the theater was almost empty, my laugh cackle echoed. It was liberating... |
