I was watching FoodTv and just saw some guy friggen dip a pita wedge in some hummus. The gross part of it was he friggen put his fingers in the dip with the pita. Ewww

I know I get really picky and stuff...I just HATE people who have no table manners.
I HATE hearing people eat, or swallow, or chew. I know I make noise when I chew, especially when it's crunchy...but I don't like hearing other people. I have this crazy sense of hearing. It's horrible in a way. I have found NO good use for my super-sonic blessing. I hear people drink! I mean, swallow when they drink. It's gross to me.
I hear Mike eating breakfast (cereal) every morning. I'll be in bed and I'll here him all the way in the kitchen on a different floor. He has admitted to me that he has tried even eating in the bathroom down there b/c I was so annoyed with the sound. I still heard him. I can't stress enough how much it bothers me.
Every time a spoon or fork hits a plate or bowl, i cringe. Literally. I get such a horrible pain in my teeth whenever I hear it. It's the feeling most people get when someone scratches a chalkboard with their nails. I get that with clanging of silverware on dishes. Yes, I know, it's all me. I am a little un-reasonable or un-realistic, when it comes to my expectations of other peoples food habits, but... I think it's time to switch to plastic.
This post has totally become a run-on, so I'm running off.
This past week I've been in Charleston, SC on business. I was looking forward to taking a little trip away from the hustle & bustle of all that is NJ.
The plane rides here were okay except for the people who were sick and coughing the whole time and happened to be sitting behind me with perfect aim.
I got of the plane feeling a little sick. Swollen glands a little.
2nd night I was here I had a high fever, the next day it was at 101, then around 5:30p it was 97.3 and then at 9:30 it was 100.4, what the hell.
Went to a local doctor and got some meds. I feel almost 80% better today, but my brain is totally fried due to some 'hiccups' we had during business hours trying to reach some milestones.
The project lead left today and of course added in some new deliverables that we had not known about. According to what the original deliverables were, we were ahead of schedule. Meaning, I could've left for home today. Eck, hopefully it will just take 1 more day!
I plan to only be here for a few hours in the morning to help finish some things up, and then I leave it all in the 'new guys' hands. We shall see how it goes.
Oh yeah, our engagement pictures are in. Well some of them at least.
Mike and I are supposed to wake up in about 5.5 hours to get dressed and ready to leave by 8am, in order to arrive at some light house on the beach in Long Beach Island.
We went shopping today to try and find something to wear. We have no clue what to wear on the beach in the winter that is actually going to look semi-normal.
Our photog told us to wear something casual but warm and said most girls wear 'flowy' skirts and men wear khakis or whate'r. Yeah, okay, so that's usually in the summer/spring...but it's friggen winter g-funk.
I wound up buying one of those layers shirts. It's black with a white collared shirt look under it. I am going to wear dark blue jeans and flat pointy dress shoes.
I tried my jeans on about 2 hours ago after they just got out of the dryer.
Mother - f'er... they did not fit very well. They most definitely shrunk and I'm stressing. So for the past 2 hours I've been wearing my jeans all tight and everything with the hopes that me sitting down or moving around with them on will loosen them up a bit.
Mike is going to wear dark jeans and a blue/striped v-neck...also gonna bring a white polo shirt just in case we look to 'dark' together.
I hope our photog isn't one of those extreme creative types that will actually expect us to jump in the water towards the end of the shoot, to get the 'fun' look in.
yikes.
I'm off to bed.
(PS - Sue - if you're reading this, you need to hook me up with the digi-scrapbooking shiznit. I saw some links on your site and now I'm semi-obsessed with learning about it. It looks soooo much more fun than hands-on scrapbooking.)
